Claiming a survey

Claiming attaches a survey you already have the admin link for to your account, so the link shows up on your account page from now on instead of depending on a browser tab or a note you saved somewhere. It doesn't change the survey itself, and anyone who already had the admin link keeps being able to use it exactly as before.
How to claim one
Sign in, then paste the survey's admin link into the claim form on your account page. You can paste the whole URL, including the version with a locale in it like /en/admin/..., or only the token at the end of it: both work the same way. If what you paste doesn't match any real survey, you'll see a message saying so rather than the form silently doing nothing.
What claiming is, and what it isn't
Claiming is a bookmark, not a lock. It doesn't grant your account any special authority over the survey, and it doesn't restrict who else can use the admin link. Ownership only decides what shows up on your account page; the admin link itself stays the actual credential, exactly as it was before you claimed anything. If you're worried an admin link has ended up somewhere it shouldn't have, claiming the survey doesn't fix that on its own.
Because of that, a survey already claimed by a different account can't be claimed by yours a second time. If you try, you'll be told it's already saved to an account rather than the claim succeeding. Your own copy of the admin link keeps working regardless of who claimed it, since claiming was never a lock in the first place.
A cap that almost nobody reaches
An account can hold up to 500 surveys, claimed and created while signed in combined. This exists to keep any single account from growing without bound rather than to limit ordinary use: running a survey every week for years would still land well under it.
What claiming doesn't do
Claiming doesn't edit a survey's questions, its results, or its status. It only changes where its admin link lives. If a survey was already closed or past its 7-day window before you claimed it, claiming doesn't reopen it on its own, though being signed in with a paid plan when you claim can clear an expired survey's clock.
